Bel Air Bay Club Wedding | David & Natalie

I can't think of a better way to end my 2018 Wedding Season. David & Natalie's beautiful day was so perfect and full of love. They literally couldn't stay away from each other all night and I was so, so honored that they chose me to be a part of their incredible wedding! The flowers were INSANE, the live band was such a hit, and the food was basically the best ever. I don't think it could have gone better and we definitely couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. The beautiful breeze over the ocean was so refreshing considering the epic wildfires that are going on here in California!

The Oaks Club at Valencia Wedding | Christian & Desirée

First of all, we all know how much I love blush and Desirée's dress was all of my lacy, sparkly, blushy dreams come to life. True story. I love how the soft pink of her dress popped the lace on her wedding gown and perfectly coordinated with her color palette of burgundy, mauve and ivory! It was a beautiful October day and even though the wind kicked up a little during our portraits. Rather than freak out about it, Desirée embraced the wind and let me play! The movement in her photos is EVERYTHING. During the ceremony there were a few little sprinkles of rain but as soon as Christian's dad pronounced them as husband and wife, the skies parted and beautiful rays of sunshine burst through the clouds!! It could not have been more perfect. We actually got a rainbow for the Romantics as well (which was faint and I didn't even notice it until I was editing today.. can you find it?)

So you've heard of a cathedral length veil but did you know there was a ROYAL cathedral length veil? I had no idea but lucky for me (and everyone who was there to celebrate with her and Jeff that day) Selena loves all things glamorous and extra. YES. Rustic, country-glam! Be still my heart! I love it when I get end up having some fun, random connections with my couples. During our first meeting, Robin told me that they actually lived in Utah and would be flying out for the wedding! My husband's family is from a small-ish town in Utah and to be honest, I don't know many places in Utah but I can't keep my mouth shut ever so I asked them where they live thinking I probably would have absolutely no idea where they lived. Turns out they live in the exact same small town as my husband's family!! So that means, just like all of my amazing couples - they can never get rid of me haha

Jake & Robin tied the knot at Calamigos Ranch in front of a beautiful waterfall surrounded by their family and closest friends. It was a destination wedding on their end but I got to escape the heat of Valencia and head out to Malibu for their big day! Robin's bouquet was literal perfection and the personal touches they had all over the place were SO them!

TPC Wedding: Tim & Jessica

I think this might have been the final wedding at TPC ever! Well, not really - but this favorite venue of mine was recently purchased by a new company and so now it's called The Oaks Club at Valencia. Looking forward to seeing how this country club moves forward into 2018! Tim & Jess are so. much. fun.

They poured themselves wholeheartedly into this wedding process and I absolutely loved the result of their labor of love! No little detail was left untouched and they had such an amazing day. My favorite little detail was that after Jess put on her dress, the sleeves kept falling off of her shoulders and she just rolled with it. It honestly turned the princess level up to 11 and I can't even imagine if she had left it on her shoulders like the original plan! This wedding is such an inspiration to you future brides - so take notes! The details are ON POINT.

A long time coming. Both this wedding and me actually publishing this blog post - goodness gracious! Between the crazy weather that we've been having here in SoCal (Sunny and 75º one day and then freezing and windy the next) and this flu season my calendar has been jam packed with reschedules and I've gotten behind with my posts! Speaking of freezing and windy; Tim & Dani's wedding was ice. cold. with a biting wind that made our fingers go blue - but it was absolutely FREAKING PERFECT. I've never met a bride as laid back as Dani, although I've known both her and Tim for years and years so it's always more fun to work with friends, and they brought their personalities in full force to this wedding. If you follow my blog on a semi-regular basis, this one is going to be a fun one to check out.

TPC Valencia Wedding: Tommy & Annie

I've known Anne so long that I actually don't remember meeting her. Well, back then she was Annie and I was Rebecca.. We've both adopted our nicknames as our permanent names now and I definitely feel like we've come a long way from 1992(?) or whenever we first crossed paths. Throughout the years our moms have stayed close friends and it was so fun to be able to share this special day with their whole family! Even though the wind was fierce that day and the temperatures were significantly lower than the easy winter weather we had been enjoying up until that point, their day was absolutely perfect and magical. Annie should be awarded some kind of Badass Bride Award because she braved the super cold weather in her beautiful, basically strapless, gown with the wind biting her skin, pretty much losing all feeling in her fingers and toes. But can I just say.. WORTH IT. My favorite images of the day were the freezing cold ones on the golf course and I couldn't be happier with the end result :)

Golden Road Brewery Wedding: Angel & Nancy

What a fun wedding to wrap up the end of my wedding season with! A BEAUTIFUL ceremony in a park (subtle beer hints of what was to come haha) and then a reception at the coolest little place I had ever been to. Hidden in the back of a local brewery was a gem of a space that was absolutely perfect for Angel & Nancy's wedding reception. Super cool, laid back, and full of great food and drink! Not sure what more you could ask for for the party of the year :)

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Cooper! Their beautiful day was full of love, family, friends, and my favorite part of any wedding: tacos. I don't think we've had a prettier October day and I'm so humbled and honored that I got to photograph a second Ramirez wedding! I photographed her sister's wedding a couple of years ago right before I had my son. We actually had a running joke that I'd go into labor at her wedding because we cut it so close haha so I'm also really thankful that that wasn't the case this time around. Swollen ankles suck when you're trying to shoot a full day of love!

Bella Vista Groves Wedding | Frankie & Bri

I can't even with this girl. I love her so much. I met Bri a little over a year ago and we clicked instantly!  Her story, her love, her family, her friends - everyone pulled together for this incredible day. Bri and Frankie are a match made in heaven. Seriously. I've said it a million times but I'm blessed with the most gorgeous, genuine brides and my grooms are kind, true, and hilarious. All of them. And Frankie was no exception! Not only is he incredibly sweet, but he had some really impressive dance moves (see below haha).

I always get a little teary at all of my weddings. Not full blown tears, but a little misty! Either during the ceremony while I'm looking at the groom, or during some especially heartfelt vows, or a really touching speech. But I was a blubbering mess during this wedding MULTIPLE times. Hot mess. I will give a quick shout-out to Urban Decay "All Nighter" Setting Spray because my makeup didn't budge! I cried when Bri's 3 brothers walked her down the aisle, I cried during the ceremony, and I for sure cried like a freaking baby when she danced with her mom.

All the tears. All the love for this wedding.

Rustic glam is kinda my specialty these days and Madison's BEAUTIFUL Camarillo Ranch House wedding didn't disappoint. Her dress was handmade by her Grandma and I just died over the little details that made it all kinds of perfect. It was supposed to rain - then it wasn't supposed to rain. Then it was definitely going to rain - and then it definitely wasn't going to rain. The day before the wedding it looked like blue skies but right before the ceremony began, it started sprinkling and the party was moved inside. But Jessica handled each curveball with so much grace (considering how many things were thrown her way for this wedding) and it was absolutely perfect. I really don't think it could have gone any better and this wedding was the best way to end my amazing 2016 season!

My brides are the best. Jacki didn't hesitate to climb down some rocks and run around in the sand before her wedding even started. This was the most intimate wedding that I've had the pleasure of photographing and I loved being a part of it! Close friends and family surrounded Jacki & Kevin as they shared vows and their first kiss as husband and wife - then danced the night away with everyone under confetti while dinner was passed around in giant martini glasses served cocktail style. Nobu Wedding in Malibu | Andrew & Lindsay

This was the most perfect, intimate day ever! Lindsay & Andrew celebrated their love at Nobu with their closest family and friends and then strolled on the beach after an amazing sushi lunch. Every sweet detail was couldn't have been a better fit for this easy going couple and the next evening they shut down The Edison in DTLA for the part of the century! Maravilla Gardens Wedding | Chaie & Holland

  All first looks deserve to be like this one. The love that these two share together is absolutely contagious and you could literally feel it sweeping over you as they walked down the aisle and shared beautiful, personal vows. I don't think I've ever been at a wedding where every. single. wedding guest cried.. until now! I cried, my assistants got choked up - it was absolute perfection. And you know what? Talk about perfection - let's chat about Chaie's badass, studded shoes and Holland's ethereal BHLDN gown! This wedding was basically all I'd hoped it would be and a million times more. These two were the most relaxed, easy going couple I think I've ever worked with! The laughed about everything and I seriously think their day went off without a hitch! The sweetest couple, the most amazing bridal party, and the nicest family - you two really have it all. And I'm sure you didn't notice (Taylor & Tiff, I'm talking to you!) but when you were saying your vows this cute little hummingbird was right above you hovering there the whole time. Then it came back and hovered over you again for your first kiss!
